The Penal Legions operate under a standard codex manner.
- Recruitment & Training
The Bar-El Penal Legions are made up of the criminals of the Bar-El and other systems and fight under standard Imperial Guard methods, although with higher security.
- Battle Style
The Bar-El Penal Legions fight like generic Imperial Guard troopers although are often seen as expendable.
- Equipment
The Bar-El Penal Legions are similarly armed although have less overall standardisation unlike most other regions.
Notable Regiments
1st Bar-El Penal Legion, 3rd Bar-El Penal Legion, 7th Bar-El Penal Legion, 9th Bar-El Penal Legion, They are known to have taken part in the Thirteenth Black Crusade on the side of the Imperium.
