Beltayn
Beltayn was a Guardsman of the Tanith First and Only.[1][2]
Biography
Beltayn was one of the original members of the First and Only from Tanith. One of the younger Guardsmen to serve in the regiment, he often acted as a loader for the Heavy Weapons Trooper "Try Again" Bragg.[1] He would later become a vox-trooper.[2]
While part of an advance party of Tanith sent to scout the ruined city of Kosdorf on Voltemand, Beltayn was shot in the arm by a corrupted PDF trooper with a lasgun. The wound proved minor, however.[1]
Beltayn eventually became the adjutant of the Tanith First's CO, Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, after Gaunt's previous adjutant, Brin Milo, came of age and enlisted in the Guard proper.[3]
Beltayn was noted for his habit of understating problems; even in extremely dire situations, he would often say that things were merely "awry".[2]
