The Black Order for the Calixis Sector is located on the Shrine World Maccabeus Quintus. It is an organization of militant priests that aid the Ordo Malleus in their work. The priests, called the Black Priests of Maccabeus, are all subject to a powerful mind-altering ritual that makes them highly resistant to possession, called the Encarta Maleficarum. It does, however, shorten their lifespans and drives them closer to insanity.[1]
