The Cup of Retribution is a Dark Angels relic, that is used in the Chapter's great annual event, known as the Feast of Malediction.^[1]

History

Legends claim that the Cup is the original vessel from which the Emperor drank at the feast held by Lion El'Jonson, when farther and son were reunited. The Dark Angels' Chaplains can take the relic into battle, where they recite the Feast of Malediction's litany to their Battle Brothers.^[1]

Notes

In the original lore, collected in the Index Imperialis: Apocrypha, the Cup of Retribution had a different origin. It was instead used by the Emperor, in the celebration of the Dark Angels Chapter's Founding during the Imperial Crusades.^[2]
