The Dark Harvest was a series of bloody battles that the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow fought against the Daemons of Slaanesh, in order to capture sixty-six of the Chaos God's Heralds.[1]
Their essence was then placed in runic stones, which were entrusted to the care of a different Troupe Master. These stones look uncomfortably similar in appearance to Eldar Waystones and each of the Troupe Masters now mockingly wear them upon their breasts just like their Craftworld kin do. The purpose of this shocking practice however, remains unclear.[1]
