Novels

Dawn of War

Dawn of War is the first volume. It was first published in 2004 to accompany the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War the computer game. The book narrates the conflict between the Orks, Blood Ravens, Biel-Tan and Alpha Legion on the planet of Tartarus. It also introduces characters such as Isador Akios and Gabriel Angelos

Ascension

Ascension is the second volume of the Dawn of War Trilogy. It differs from the original in the way that it does not follow the plot of Winter Assault. Instead, it follows the Blood Ravens Chapter, focusing on the conflict between the Biel Tan Eldar, Necrons on a Blood Ravens World, and the Blood Ravens themselves. It also explores the mind of Gabriel Angelos, over the destruction of his homeworld and the treachery of his battle brother, Isador Akios. It was first published in 2005.

Tempest

Tempest is the third volume. It was written and published to accompany the THQ computer game Dawn of War: Dark Crusade and was first published in 2006.

The Trials of Isador

In a short story (published in the omnibus edition), Gabriel Angelos finds a secret journal belonging to Isador Akios, that helps explain the Librarian's fall to Chaos on Tartarus.
