History
Garudo was on guard duty at the Imperial Palace when he encountered by chance the primarch Alpharius, who had infiltrated the building to test the capabilities of the palace and its guardians. As he was ordering the primarch to identify himself, Alpharius launched a blade against his throat to silence him and used the custodian's Guardian Spear to end his life. With the Custodian dead, Alpharius hid his body in an ammunition container and stole his armour and spear, using them as a desguise to avoid raising any suspicions.[1a]
