The fighters were eventually either shot down or crashed, but unfortunately one of these crashed into the group of Inquisitors arrayed for the parade, killing more than 80 Inquistors and assorted staff. Eisenhorn was safe, but Ravenor was caught in the blast, and suffered horrific burns over 100% of his body. He was severely crippled by the injury, with only his brain remaining fully functional.
