The Golden Throne was the Emperor's final legacy to Mankind. With his last mortal breaths he whispered the directions for its construction into the ear of Rogal Dorn, Primarch of the Imperial Fists Legion.
The Golden Throne is a complex life support device located in a massive complex over what was the British Isles, with the throne itself being over where Nottingham is in the real world.
