Gregor Eisenhorn was an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos. Elevated to the rank of Inquisitor by Inquisitor Hapshant in 222.M41, Eisenhorn was a man to be reckoned with.

Some of his famous cases are the Necroteuch case. Eisenhorn tracked a Chaos worshipping cabal to a Saruthi world. The Necroteuch was destroyed eventually along with the specially constructed Saruthi world. However, some Inquisitors deemed this an heretical act, and damned Eisenhorn. Eisenhorn was spared by the Lord Inquistor and continues his Inquisitorial business as usual.

Eisenhorn lost one of his hands in the Sameter incident, to ex-Sameter infantry personnel who went insane from a war on a nearby planet. The now fanatical ex-riflemen thought they were serving the Throne by killing anyone they thought were in any way related to Chaos. In their twisted minds, they can only see heretics. Their methods of execution were: cut the spine out, for it is common belief that Daemons reside there in the human body; cut the tongues, so the victims cannot warn others; dig the eyes out, save their souls. With squads of Adeptus Arbites, Eisenhorn managed to corner the fanatics in a temple. There, a firefight broke out and Eisenhorn lost his hand to the experienced riflemen. All of the Sameter infantry men was killed.
