He is most famous for his association with the Ogryn Nork Deddog. Nork saved Greiss's life several times, including carrying him from Breakback Hill when most of Greiss's body was shattered.[Needs Citation]
Greiss was eventually succeeded as colonel of the Catachan II by his former subordinate, "Iron Hand" Straken.[1]
