Emphasis on Devastators, Terminators, Vindicators and Dreadnoughts.[1] Strength: Unknown Battle Cry Unknown

Background

The Hammers of Dorn venerate Rogal Dorn, taking pride of this way beyond the norm, as the Chaplains teach that he was the favoured son of the Emperor, as he stood shoulder to shoulder with his father during the darkest days of the Horus Heresy. Within the Chapters teachings they see a rivalry between Rogal Dorn and Roboute Guilliman, and have emphasised this today as a rivalry, that as yet to result in honorific combat, between themselves and the Ultramarines and their successors. The Hammers of Dorn also have a very real hatred for the Word Bearers traitor legion which apparently began as an attempt to prove their superiority to the Ultramarines and their successors against their ancient foes.^[1]

Campaigns

• Achilus Crusade^[1]: The Hammers of Dorn in this crusade has focused mostly in the worlds known as the Blood Trinity, seeking to confirm the rumours of activity of Word Bearers Legion in the area and fighting Chaos. They recently fought a void-duel against the Black Grail, a Carnage-Class Cruiser, and being forced to withdraw. The Chapter is currently refitting in Karlack and nearly ready to continue their search.
