In 601 390601390.[[M38]] House Ecale, under the leadership of the legendary [[Sia'hadn Ecale]], formed a pact with the [[Marines Errant]] [[Space Marine Chapter]]. Although the details of this covenant are not known by outsiders, it is known that the entire Chapter accompanied Ecale's already substantial army on a forty year expedition into the [[Ghoul Stars]]. Ever since then House Ecale's expeditions have included small contingents from the Marines Errant. Those Astartes who return do so bearing the Ecales' sigil on their [[Power Armour]].{{Fn|1}}
