Overview

Having once stood guardian of two dozen worlds during the Age of Strife, at some point treachery from within toppled their empire. In time, the Knights of the House became little more than raiders who held onto their once-glorious past. They initially resisted assimilation into the Imperium during the Great Crusade but eventually agreed to comply under promises of their empire being restored once more. Disparate elements of the House each joined a different Expeditionary Fleet, their commander seeing themselves as the rightful High King once their House stood united.[2]

Eventually the Imperium restored their empire but placed off-world foreigners in command of it. Hope was replaced by bitterness and it was in this context that they joined the forces of the Warmaster during the Horus Heresy. Uniting for the first time in millennia, they fell upon their home worlds of old and butchered those still loyal to the Emperor. However eventually they once again became known as honourless raiders who would march under false banners and betray their allies.[2]

The House fought beside Legio Vulpa in the Battle of Beta-Garmon[1] and also fought in the Defence of Ryza.[2]
