Motto:

House Kaska was a Knight House of the Imperium during the Horus Heresy.[1]

Hailing from Caulder's Keep on the Kasha Peninsular on Molech, Kaska were known as haughty frontiersmen and endured its rain-soaked keeps, seldom making trek down into the warmer climates of the Western Marches. Their keeps were the only settlements in a seat of territory surrounded by Molech's great beasts. Other Houses of Molech looked down on Kaska, considering them drunkards and vagrants. The reality is that their lords adhered to a different set of codes, having its Scions climb the peaks of Kasha to wrestle a xenosmilus cub and drink their weight in ale. It is said that during the coming of the Lord of Storms, the Wild Walker tribes of Molech conspired to slay him for trespassing on their lands. It was only the intervention of House Kaska who stayed the tribes hand, placating them instead with a series of grueling challenges. The house came to revere the tenets of these challenges.[2]

The House was ultimately destroyed in the Traitor Invasion of Molech itself during the Horus Heresy.[1]
