Aspect of Khaine
The Eldar Aspect Warriors are warriors that have progressed down the Path of the Warrior. Each aspect represents a fighting style embodied in the Eldar god of war, Kaela Mensha Khaine. The Howling Banshee Aspect Warriors are representative of the daughters of Khaine and Morai-Heg.
Howling Banshee Aspect
The Aspect draws their inspiration from the banshees of Eldar mythology, a harbinger of woe and death, whose cry is said to be able to lure an Eldar's soul from its spirit stone. In battle each Howling Banshee wears a mask which utilizes psychosonic amplifiers, and turns their battle screams into weapons.
The Howling Banshees Aspect is focused on close combat, and made up primarily of female Eldar. They are lightly equipped, swift and highly mobile. They are effective at delivering a devastating first strike, but if they get stuck in combat, then as with most Eldar, attrition will work against them.
Aspect Wargear
The Howling Banshee Aspect Warriors are armed with:
- A Banshee Mask - Stuns their foes as the Banshees charge into combat, allowing them to strike first.
- A Power Weapon.
- A Shuriken Pistol.
- Aspect Armour - This armor provides more protection than the mesh armour of the Guardian citizen-warriors.
Exarch
An Exarch is the leader of an Aspect Shrine. She is one that has traveled so far down the Path of the Warrior, that she can no longer turn from that path to follow another path. This gives them great skill and dedication.
Exarch Wargear
In addition to the wargear of the aspect, the Exarch can be armed with a number of special weapons:
- The Executioner. A power weapon which adds strength to the Exarch's strike.3
- Mirrorswords. A pair of twin power weapons that the Exarch can use to increase her number of attacks.
- The Triskele. A three bladed weapon that is thrown in an arc that returns to the hand of the Exarch after striking the enemy. It can also be wielded as a power weapon in close combat.3
- Exarch Armour
Phoenix Lord
