Known as the "Night Shriekers" after the common name for the Nocturnadon, a predator from their homeworld. All-female unit, including ground crew. Wing badge - a black nocturnadon with spread wings and talons ready - located on tail.[6]

3659th Fighter Wing
Contains 'Harrier' squadron (A squadron), a Thunderbolt squadron. Camouflaged for low level woodland operations on Lammas. Just for 4 days of dogfights the wing losses in this campaign 75% of aircrafts - shot down by the Eldar Nightwings. Such loses counted as not unusual when facing Eldar aircraft.[4][1b]
The 5082nd involved in the defence of Hive Helsreach during the Third War for Armageddon.[2]
Sixteen of its Lightnings were given the honour to be marked with the Templar Cross after serving with Marshal Tarrison in the Dathax Crusade.[2]
