Locust

Locusts were a pattern of light fighter-plane used by the forces of Chaos in the Sabbat Crusade, considered some of the Archenemy's lightest and nimblest aircraft in that theater.^[1a] Equipped with vectored engines for sharper manoeuvres and chin-guns, they are long-nosed, twin-boomed, and covered in spikes.^[2a] Paint schemes varied depending on the Chaos fleet they served with. Common colors were various shades of red, with golden stripes^[1b] or black tiger stripe patterns.^[2b]

Large numbers of Locusts were deployed in Enok Innokenti's assault on the planet Herodor^[1], and in the Blood Pact's campaign on Enothis^[2] alongside Hell Blades^[1c] and Hell Talons.^[1d]
