Menazoid Epsilon is a Death World located in the Sabbat Worlds cluster.[1a]
Believed to have been a shrine world for the forces of Chaos in the region, it was targeted for reclamation by the Imperium as part of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.[1b][1c]
History
Alongside the other worlds in the Menazoid Clasp, Menazoid Epsilon was targeted for reclamation by the forces of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade under Warmaster Macaroth.[1a][1c] The taking of it was commanded by Lord Militant General Hechtor Dravere[1c], who was ultimately slain during the campaign.[1f]
Menazoid Epsilon is notable for being the location of a Standard Template Constructor that was primed to produce Men of Iron. This STC was discovered to have been corrupted by the forces of Chaos and destroyed by an Imperial commando team from the Tanith 1st Imperial Guard Regiment.[1f]

Geography
Menazoid Epsilon was small compared to the capital world of the Clasp, Menazoid Sigma, to the point it was compared with a moon rather than a planet.[1c]
Areas of Menazoid Epsilon were dotted by lines of stone towers, which converged at three points, dubbed by the Sabbat Crusade tacticians as Shrine Target Primaris, Secundus and Tertius. Their purpose was unknown prior to the Imperial attack on the planet, where it was revealed that they formed a network of transmitters that the Chaos forces on the planet could use to erect energy barriers.[1b][1d]
