The Miasman Redcowls are Astra Militarum Regiments.[1a]
Contents
Overview
The Miasman Redcowls hail from the orbital space station networks that surround the gas giant Miasma XVI and are known for the fierce, foul-smelling green fire that spouts from their Flame Weapons. Though the ‘Fire Skunks’ are issued with rebreather masks and heavy robes to escape the sulphurous stench of Miasma XVI’s gases, their fellow regiments are usually not so lucky. Because of this, more than one regiment has objected violently to being stationed alongside the Redcowls.[1a]
The Redcowls are often placed on the front line, where they burn a path through the foe to create room for their allies. They are deployed sparingly in defensive operations, usually on planets that are considered irretrievable, as the firestorms they create are too destructive to be used on densely populated or high-value worlds.[1a]

- 15th Regiment — The Brimstones. Destroyed while defending the Shrine World Dystra Angelicus, during the Second Tyrannic War.[1b]
