Necrontyr

The Necrontyr are an ancient and long-extinct race of sapients that arose from a radiation-blasted planet in an incredibly hostile star-system. Jealous of the Ancient Slann, the short-lived yet technologically adept Necrontyr attempted to make war on the psychic, life-seeding Old Ones, culminating their development of weapons of mass destruction with the full manifestation of the C'tan, their own so-called Star Gods. The Necrontyr became extinct when they finalized their pact with the C'tan, transforming themselves into the metallic beasts known as the Necrons, allowing them to hate for all eternity.
