Night Bringer

The Night Bringer, also known as the Yngir Kaelis Ra in Eldar Mythology, was a C'tan born of the very star that had blasted the Necrontyr race in its infancy. As one of the most monstrously powerful of the C'tan, the Night Bringer is accredited with bringing the fear of death to all races save the Orks. The Night Bringer was slain by the Eldar God Khaine, but his slaying served only to taint Khaine's persona and was not to prove a very permanent death.
