List of Cadian Armoured Regiments
The following is a list of known Armoured Regiments of the Cadian Shock Troopers.

22nd Armoured | Possesses at least one Banesword known as Tyron's Doom. [23] |
23rd Armoured | Nicknamed "The Emperor's Hammer", the 24th Armoured fought in the 13th Black Crusade, assissting in the defense of Kasr Gehr[22] before taking part of a major counter-offensive;[38b] it was mostly wiped out in these battles.[22][38b] |
24th Armoured | Known as "The Emperor's Thunder". Fought against the 13th Black Crusade.[34a] |
31st Armoured |
The 31st Armoured was raised on Cadia and fought at Levilnor IV.[6a] During this fight it contains at least one Manticore (Tank) and Hydra (Platform)s.[6s][6t] |
47th Armoured | Fought in the 13th Black Crusade. Mostly equipped with Hellhounds.[38b] |
49th Armoured |
The 49th Armoured survived the 13th Black Crusade, and subsequently took part in the Coronal Crusade. It suffered heavy losses during the latter conflict.[37] |
51st | Known to have fought in the 13th Black Crusade.[31] |
71st Armoured | The Cadian 71st, nicknamed "The Hellhounds" were a regiment deployed to fight the Tau on Baktar III. They were commanded by Colonel Anders. [19][Needs Citation] |
72nd Armoured | Fought in the Second Agrellan Campaign.[40] |
74th Armoured |
The 74th Armoured was raised on Cadia and fought at the defence of Hamman's World against the Tyranid Hive Fleet Kraken. Includes at least one Leman Russ Conqueror[6b] and at least one Hydra Flak Tank.[6r] |
75th Armoured |
The 75th Armoured was not present on Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade. A few months after the fall of Cadia, it was deployed on Xalxat, suffering heavy losses.[36] |
78th Armoured | The 78th Armoured consist of at least eight companies and at least one Leman Russ Executioner (in 8th Company) that fought on Hive World Bakus III.[30b] |
79th Armoured | Fought in the 13th Black Crusade.[38b] |
81st Armoured | The 81st Armoured, less formally known as "Rolling Thunder", is a distinguished regiment fighting as part of the 18th Army Group "Exolon". The regiment gained praise for their efforts in "Operation Thunderstorm", where over 90% of the regiment's tanks were lost fighting the Orks on Golgotha. Prior to the engagement on Golgotha, the regiment had numerous Leman Russ Vanquishers, Exterminators, Executioners, Conquerors and a Shadowsword super-heavy tank. [21][Needs Citation] |
98th Armoured] |
The 98th Armoured was raised on Cadia and fought at the Luxor Uprising. It is known to include a Leman Russ Exterminator of the Gryphonne IV style. [6c] It also includes a Mars pattern Baneblade, which is permanently attached to the regiment. [6d] It also includes a Stormblade permanently attached from another super heavy company. [6e] It also includes Mars pattern Chimeras with a multi-laser[6f], at least one Salamander Command vehicle[6n], Cyclops Demolition Vehicles[6o], some Earthshaker (Platform)s[6t] and some Tarantula sentry guns,[6u] which also took part in putting down the Luxor Uprising.[6f][6n][6o] |
99th Armoured | Fought in the Second Agrellan Campaign.[40] |
101st Armoured | Originally an armoured regiment that fought in the 13th Black Crusade,[38a] it became a mixed unit after the destruction of Cadia due to absorbing other units.[39] |

142nd Armoured |
Participated in the defence of the Cadian system during the 13th Black Crusade. It includes a Leman Russ Vanquisher of the Stygies VIII pattern but the Mars Alpha hull pattern.[6g] It also includes a Destroyer Tank Hunter and may well have been the first vehicle of the first company as there was only one squadron of Destroyers under the 142nd.[6h] Also includes at least two Artillery Companies of Basilisks[6p], at least one Hydra Flak Tank[6r] and Hydra (Platform)s.[6t] It also includes at least three Mars-pattern Shadowswords from the Cadian 12th Heavy Tank Company during the defense of Cadia in the 13th Black Crusade.[6l] |
144th Armoured | Fought in the Second Agrellan Campaign.[40] |
155th Armoured | Participated in the defence of Cadia. It includes at least three Companies and at least one Leman Russ Exterminator of the Gryphonne IV pattern.[30aF] |

The 212th Cadian Armoured Regiment is a regiment of the Imperial Guard raised on Cadia. It is known to contain at least one Leman Russ Conqueror.[6i] |
346th Armoured | Known as "Ironheads". Fought in the Battle of Greystar |
423rd Armoured | Defeated the Adamant Fury Traitor Titan Legion in the largest tank battle for the Imperium since the Battle of Tallarn.[26] Later fought in the Second Agrellan Campaign.[40] |
567th Armoured | Known as "Steelhounds". Fought in the Talledus War[32] |
652nd Armoured | Fought in the 13th Black Crusade.[38b] |

c.M41 - The regiment participated in the defence of the Imperial City of Vogen during the Khai Zhan rebellion. They were attached to the Cadian 122nd Shock Troops Regiment during the most fierce phase of the street fighting. It is known to include a Mars-pattern Baneblade which fought in the Battle for Vogen and is the company's sixth vehicle.[6j] |
8th Heavy Tank Regiment |
Participated in the defence of the Cadian system during the 13th Black Crusade.[6k] |
12th Heavy Tank Company |
Participated in the defence of the Cadian system during the 13th Black Crusade. 3 of the Company's Shadowswords are permanently attached to the Cadian 142nd Armoured Regiment.[6l] There is also a Stormsword deployed to the Cadian 12th Heavy Tank Regiment which could be the same thing as the 12th Company, simply a typo. In any case it is the first tank of the sixth squadron.[6m] |
