The Novamarines are a Successor Chapter of the Ultramarines Legion.
During the Badab War, the Novamarines were brought in to relieve other Chapters recalled to their normal service duties.
The Chapter has also taken part in (along with the Blood Drinkers,) the cleansing of the space hulk 'Death of Integrity'; achieving a remarkable 53:1 kill ratio.
