Octavian

Space Marines Portal Ultramarines

Octavian is a Space Marine Sergeant from the Ultramarines' 2nd Company, under Captain Cato Sicarius. His Tactical Squad, nicknamed "Swords of Judgment," have received a collective total of fifteen Marksman's Honour badges, for their uncanny precision with ranged weaponry^[1a].

History

Black Reach

During the Assault on Black Reach in 855 M41^[1b], The Swords were deployed to Black Reach with the rest of the Second Company against Waaagh! Zanzag. During the liberation of Ghospora Hive from the Orks, the Squad took severe casualties; after their precise bolter fire had downed an Ork flyer, one of their Brothers, Castor, threw himself onto a dropped bomb to protect others from the blast. Despite this heroic act, several of his squad were killed or severely wounded^[2a]. The remnants of the Swords were rallied for the final push against the Orks., and accompanied Sicarius and the rest of the company to hunt down the Warboss^[2b].

Espandor

During the attack of the Bloodborn on Ultramar, in 854999.M41^[1b], the 2nd Company was deployed to Espandor^[3].
