The Old Hundred is a term given to the original Regiments of the Imperial Army.[1]
These formations were originally Human soldiers recruited from Terra which fought under the Emperor's banner during the Unification Wars. At the onset of the Great Crusade, these formations were dubbed the "Old Hundred" and continued to fight for the Emperor throughout the Galaxy. The Old Hundred were viewed with great respect and distinction.[1]
