Ordinatus Armageddon[2]

The Ordinatus Armageddon, also known by the designation Oberon, was an Ordinatus engine of the Centurio Ordinatus.[1a]

History

Oberon saw use during the First War for Armageddon. Following that conflict, it was buried in a hidden bunker on Armageddon, where it slept for centuries.[1a]

Near the start of the Third War for Armageddon, Reclusiarch Merek Grimaldus of the Black Templars deduced the location of the Ordinatus.[1a] He tasked Master of the Forge Jurisian with awakening Oberon to aid in the Helsreach Crusade, despite knowing that such an action would enrage the Adeptus Mechanicus.[1a][1b]

Although it took Jurisian many weeks to break through the encryption protecting Oberon, he eventually succeeded.[1c][1d] The Ordinatus would go on to destroy the Ork Gargant Godbreaker with a single blast from its mighty nova cannon, before retreating from Hive Helsreach to support what remained of the Legio Invigilata.[1e]

Armament

The Ordinatus Armageddon's primary weapon was a Nova Cannon, a gigantic plasma weapon normally mounted on Imperial Navy warships capable of destroying a Titan in a single shot.[1b][1e]
