Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer 40,000 (informally known as Warhammer 40K or just 40K) is a Gothic science fantasy tabletop miniature wargame, produced by British gaming company Games Workshop. Play centers around 28mm scale (approximately 1:65) miniature figurines produced by Citadel Miniatures, which represent soldiers, creatures, and vehicles of war.

Necromunda is a tabletop skirmish war game, where players control rival gangs battling each other in the Underhive, a place of anarchy and violence in the depths below an Hive City. Necromunda is the world that the games occurs on and is the same world from the Warhammer 40,000 universe and likewise the play centres on 28mm scale models.

The Horus Heresy


The Horus Heresy is a miniature game created by Forge World which takes place 10,000 years before Warhammer 40,000 during the infamous Horus Heresy.

Blackstone Fortress


Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress is a Warhammer 40,000' spinoff game that sees adventurers and explorers attempt to uncover the mysteries of a Blackstone Fortress.

Space Hulk


Space Hulk is a board game by Games Workshop. Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the game takes place on a Space Hulk and pits a boarding force of Space Marine Terminators against a brood of Genestealers.



Epic is a series of tabletop war games. Epic battles consist of hundreds of soldiers and dozens of tanks arrayed across a long battlefield. To make this possible the scale of Epic miniatures is around 6mm, compared to the 28mm for Warhammer 40,000.

Adeptus Titanicus is an epic-scale game by Forge World that sees Titan engines battle one another during the Horus Heresy.

A tabletop game produced by Forge World and represents aerial combat in the warhammer 40,000 universe.

Battlefleet Gothic is a miniature game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It deals with the space combat aspect of the universe, and particularly the events surrounding the Gothic War.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a RTS (Real Time Strategy) game.

  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
    • Winter Assault - The first expansion for the RTS PC game Dawn of War. This expansion introduced the Imperial Guard as a full faction and made adjustments to the existing factions, such as balance changes and the addition of new units (one for each faction).
    • Dark Crusade - offers new features such as larger maps, a non-linear single-player campaign, and two new fully playable races – the Necrons and the Tau.
    • Soulstorm - Whereas the campaign of Dark Crusade was conquering a single planet, Soulstorm's campaign is the conquest of several planets and moons, basically a single star system, Kaurava. Soulstorm also introduced the Sisters of Battle and Dark Eldar as playable factions.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a video game developed by Relic Entertainment, and published by THQ. The player plays as Captain Titus, Space Marine of the Ultramarines chapter. The game is a third person brawler/shooter, where the character uses his bolter to engage enemies at a distance until he can get close enough for close quarters fighting, which is where most engagements will be decided.


Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is a top down view, perspective correct, 3d arcade shooter, with twin stick control. The game supports both single player and split-screen multiplayer modes and is available on PS3 and XBOX360.


Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior
