The Sameter 9th Infantry is a regiment of the Astra Militarum.[1]
Sameter has a proud tradition of mixed foundings, sending both men and women off to serve side by side, and the 9th Infantry was no exception.
History
The Regiment was founded in 218.M41 in the city of Urbitane and granted the regimental symbol of an ear of wheat, as Urbitane was a major supplier of agricultural products and machinery. The regiment was shipped out to the sixteen-month liberation war on Surealis VI.
In 220.M41, the regiment was deployed in the Battle of Klodeshi Heights on Surealis VI.
In 228.M41, the regiment's veterans were mustered out.
