Saur Damocles was Captain of the Ultramarines Legion's 6th Company during the Battle of Calth.[1a] His company's sigil was a figure-eight serpent.[1b] He later founded the Iron Snakes, a Successor Chapter of the Ultramarines, after the Heresy.[2] The chapter's symbol was likewise a double-looped serpent, and one of its notable Tactical Squads was named Damocles[3].
