The Scouring of the Ollanz Cluster was a battle of the Horus Heresy, taking place in 012.M31.[1]
As the traitorous Warmaster Horus advanced on the Ollanz Cluster, he encountered loyalist forces bound for Beta-Garmon. The loyalist fleet rapidly redeploys to oppose the traitor's in the Borman System. The turning point of the brief but intense conflict came at Borman IV when a Legio Astorum demi-Legio launched a daring offensive towards the planet's beleaguered capital city which is besieged by the Emperor's Children. The crucial Titan battle takes place in the volcanic Yrevendi Desert immediately north to the capital as Princeps Senoris Varr Harax launched a surprise thrust through rough terrain at a weak point in the defenses of the Legio Fureans.
Supported by the Iron Hands, the loyalists succeed in annihilating the Legio Fureans. They then reach the Emperor's Children lines and relieve the capital city. Ultimately, Borman IV and the entire Ollanz Cluster are won from the traitors, allowing for them to be redeployed to their original destination of Beta-Garmon.[1]
