The Secoris Tragedy[1] was a catastrophic space hulk cleansing operation undertaken by the Blood Angels Chapter in 996.M40.[2] The entire chapter under Chapter Master Sangallo[3] deployed when a space hulk appeared in the Secoris system near Baal. However, the Blood Angels discovered tens of thousands of Genestealers in hibernation. The resistance on board the space hulk was so great that only fifty battle brothers[4] under Captains Kadeus and Dante survived the battle.[3]
