The shotgun is a weapon in use for thousands of years. Its roots are traced back to well before M25.The shotgun fires a very large, lead slug held in a casing. When this slug is fired, you pull on a pump to extract the casing, and load a new shell. The shotgun is not very accurate, and has no armor-piercing ability, but it is easier to fire from the hip than the lasgun .The shotgun is not very popular, most troopers prefer to take a hellgun , lasgun , or other substitute.
