Space Marine Legion

The First-founding Legions are the twenty Legions of Space Marines (18 of which are known) that were created by the Emperor to aid him in the Great Crusade, each was created from and lead by their Primarch. Following the Horus Heresy the Legions were broken up according to the Codex Astartes in the Second Founding. Below is a list of the First-founding Legions and their Primarchs.
