The '''Gaunt's Ghosts (Novel Series)''' is a [[Black Library (BL Publishing)|Black Library]] series written or edited by [[Dan Abnett]] following the adventures of the [[Tanith First and Only]] [[Imperial Guard]] Regiment battling to free the [[Sabbat Worlds]] system from the forces of [[Chaos]]. The series is one the most successful lines of the Black Library, consisting of 13 Novels, two short story anthologies ([[Sabbat Worlds (Anthology)|Sabbat Worlds]] and [[Sabbat Crusade (Anthology)|Sabbat Crusade]]), two spin-off novels ([[Double Eagle (Novel)|Double Eagle]] and [[Titanicus (Novel)|Titanicus]]) and two background books as of the end of 2014. The fourteenth novel, [[The Warmaster (Novel)|The Warmaster]], is scheduled for publication in June 2015December 2017.
