"Who these beings are exactly is unclear, but they are likely Necrons" This is a contributor's conjecture not found in House of Artifice and imo it misleads casual readers more familiar with the races of the wider galaxy away from the more likely conclusion that the Iron Lords are some remnant of the Iron Lords of the Araneus Continuity. --Shards (talk) 11:09, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

It really depends on the case. But if the source doesn't unequivocally mention "Necrons" it certainly should not be included in the main body text.
