Captain Severus

I'm confused about something. The movie is about Captain Severus of the Ultramarines, but M41 says that Sergeant Severus of the Ultramarines was interred into a dreadnaught? The video teaser definitely shows him alive and well not in a dreadnaught. MillkyJ 09:55 09 September 2010 (GMT)

Isnt Captain Sicarius current Commander of the Ultramarines second company?Did something happen to him or what??just wondering!!??

Sicarius is the current 2nd company captain, yes. As to Captain Severus, come on guys, you can get two people with the same surname and there's been more than one 2nd company commander in 10,000 years...--Mob 15:22, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Well, Sicarius has been the captain of 2nd company since at least 849.M41, and since 2nd company was fighting tyranids(which, unless they were colored as Behemoth, where we could place it between 745 and 849.M41), I guess we can make the assumption that Captain Severus replaced Captain Sicarius for unknown reasons......Commisar Gegnillum 15:20, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

We don't assume anything, we just add accurate info, which is that Severus was 2nd company captain at some point in the history of the Ultramarines. As for Severus replacing Sicarius (just for discussion purposes) I would suggest it is simpler to believe he was one of the many 2nd company captains that preceded Sicarius in 10,000 odd years rather than one that came after. Sicarius is 2nd company captain in 999.M41 and beyond (see the Ventris novels), and the idea that the first 40K movie is set further on in M42 seems to me to be incredibly unlikely. It's much, much more likely it's set sometime before Sicarius got the job IMHO. Regardless, it's a discussion point and nothing else until a source gives us more information. Judging from this discussion, I guess the best thing we can say(confirmed that Sicarius is current 2nd company captain) is that this movie took place sometime after the First Tyranic War, and that Sicarius replaced Severus after the events in this movie. Also, if anyone has the movie, please tell us what coloration the tyranids are! Commisar Gegnillum 21:22, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Sean Pertwee

Anyone else find it interesting and entirely trivial that Sean Pertwee was a VA in W40k Firewarrior, voicing 'Governor' Severus, and now voicing another 40k character alongside another Severus?--Anoctris 08:45, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Screenplay

Source appears to refer to the screenplay of the movie. Once I've sacrificed 70 minutes to a viewing I can check general info, but meanwhile if anybody has heard of the actual screenplay being sourced I'd be just plain curious to hear more. --Prattlebarge 06:44, 11 May 2013 (CEST)
