This page contains spoilers for: Soul Drinkers Series

Template:IntWik Tellos was an Assault Marine Sergeant in the the Space Marine Chapter known as the Soul Drinkers. He and his assault squad headed the attack on the Van Skorvold starfort. Under Librarian Sarpedons command, he fought through the starfort to retrieve the Soul Spear, but it was stolen right in front of Sarpedon by tech-guard.

When the Soul Drinkers attacked the Mechanicus platform, Tellos was seriously wounded after both hands were wrentched off at the wrist by an Electro-priest. Tellos would have been killed by the priest if Apothecary Pallas hadn't come to his aid, dragging him to safety.

While recovering on the Soul Drinker ship, the Gundog, Pallas found Tellos jamming metal shafts in his amputated stubs. Even after Pallas had removed the shafts, Tellos was found destroying servitors in the ships library. This was the beginning of the end of Tellos' sanity as a Space Marine and the beginning of his pronounced mutations.
Tellos had the most obvious mutations, second only to Sarpedon. So that he could fight on (because he refused any other fate) he had chainblades grafted into each end of his arms while his accelerated healing mutation held them in place. His second mutation was a gross amount of muscularity, even when compared to his fellow super human Space Marines, and semi-translucent skin.
During the time Sarpedon was looking for a cure to halt their mutations, Tellos disobeyed Sarpedon on numerous occasions. When the cure was finally located, the Soul Drinkers were forced to abandon Tellos and his forty Assault Marine squads behind on Stratix Luminae. They were last seen taking on tens of thousands of mutants and undead creatures from Teturact's heretical army.

A few years later Sarpedon recieved word that Tellos and his Marines had wiped Stratix Luminae clean of life and had pledged loyalty to Khorne, the Chaos god of blood and war. Tellos was eventually tracked to Entymion IV were he and Sarpedon engaged in a final duel over a bridge. Sarpedon was, barely, victorius but during the battle the bridge collapsed, burying him in rubble. As the remaining Soul Drinker marines evacuated Entymion IV, Exterminatus was ordered due to the planet being over-run by Deamons and heretics. Tellos, alive, emerged from the ruins of the bridge and sat on a pile of freshly killed deamons who had drawn to close on him. He watched as the Cyclonic Torpedoes bore into the surface of Entymion IV, thinking, More blood for the Blood God, the planet breaking apart under his feet.
