The Barbaran Plate is a suit of Power Armour created by the Primarch Mortarion, fusing Power Armour technology with his own lore. The armour was designed to augment Mortarion's own singular physiology and environmental needs by synthesizing the air he breathed, with trace elements of the poisonous vapours found on his Homeworld Barbarus^[1]. Even after ascending to Daemonhood, Mortarion still wore the Barbaran Plate and continues to do so ten millennia later in the Thirteenth Black Crusade.^[2]
