First I was a boardgamer. Started with Risk and Axis & Allies when I was in middle school.
Then I became a card gamer with Magic the Gathering right after that, as well as a video gamer with Sega Genesis, N64, and Command & Conquer and Dark Forces for the PC.
Then I was a miniatures gamer with Games Workshop and historical miniatures wargaming in high school.
In college I did both, and added role-playing games, including ones where you get to play scenarios from international relations.
After college I found BGG.
In the last few years I have gotten into LARPing, as well as more involved with miniatures and Eurogames, and less so with PC gaming.
