You're going to have to be a little more specific here. Where exactly do I go wrong?

Here's my standing of the page:
100px

The page had no sources until I added them and unless video-media convension had changed in the last hour, video games do not have "individual pages or chapters".

If you are refering to the footnote convension then I'm puzzled. Given that the entire article's claims are dependant on the game it would be impractical to put a footnote on every single clause on the page. After all, there are other existing sources. An example of were a general source from a game is use on the Typhon Primaris page, an edit you oversaw to yourself. I guess it's not impossible to put them by the subtitles, but I think you would agree that looks aesthetically unappealing, no?

It also appears my methods are in check with these existing pages: -- Dark Crusade
-- Soulstorm
-- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising (Footnote exists but is not marked on the article body)

The 'Retribution' and 'Space Marine' articlesages are sourced with webpages but both were articles written pre-release unlike the others.

-- Secondat of Orange 21:33, 4 August 2011 (CEST)

I really do not have the time to go into too much details. All articles need footnotes because you never know if and when additional sources are available for said article. So yes, footnotes are compulsory even if only one source exists. And in computergames while certainly not having chapters or pagenumbers (apart from the manuals of course), there are still missions, video sequences etc that can be checked for verification. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 22:16, 4 August 2011 (CEST)
Not a single page on lexicantum has that kind of footnote.
It's spelled "Lexicanum". --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:54, 14 August 2011 (CEST)
How do I put a footnote for a game's new feature eg. (Units and such)? It's not part of the story.

Same as always. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:54, 14 August 2011 (CEST)

Please read this and give your opinion

Please read the following: Talk:List of Space Marine Chapters#This list contains several mistakes - we should deleted it and rewrite it anew. Thanks. Aehren 04:18, 5 August 2011 (CEST)

Welcome & Kestrel is back fluffing things up

I understand your point of view and I will stop as requested.

I believe (I’m not positive) the one posted on my page was prior to my first post, hence why I thought it was acceptable. It does however serve an important purpose; if they were to post without visiting the mainpage they unlikely to catch a warning and as a result may spam up the site like Kez did. I also see it as a good way of encouraging users to post and help out. Either way I look forward to working with you on this wonderful wiki!

Kestrel is back adding more fan fluff!

Your Brother in Ordo Lord Parvus 8th August 2011

Not anymore. He was warned and suffered the consequences. And if you add the tag, please restrict yourself to really newly registered users. And check "minor changes" when you do it ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:58, 8 August 2011 (CEST)

Imperial Guard Images

Hey any chance you could undelete the images File:IG5EMarbo.jpg & File:IG5ENork Deddog.jpg. I forgot to work them into their respective articles and have also since deleted the original source files. If you could bring them back then it would be a huge help, saving me from having to cut them back out of the Codex scans i have and messing around with them. I promise ill use them this time!--Ytokes 14:00, 10 August 2011 (CEST)

Done. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 14:03, 10 August 2011 (CEST)

Blood Ravens Workbench.

It seems we are ready to update the BR page, here's the link to our revisions: User:Commisar Gegnillum/Overflow. Commisar Gegnillum 17:38, 11 August 2011 (CEST)

To be clear: you want that copied onto the BR page and replace the existing page, right? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 22:00, 11 August 2011 (CEST)
Correct. Credit BTW goes to Mob, Lord Parvus,Ytokes, SFH, and Detlefk for contributing to update the page. Commisar Gegnillum 22:35, 11 August 2011 (CEST)
If there's any problems with it, let us know and we can sort them out quick as you like. But it seems like a good time to paste over the page as there's been some discussion about them on boards again recently and the updated article would be a good resource for that. Thanks!--Mob 03:28, 14 August 2011 (CEST)

Defacement

The Lexicanum was hacked? How was it defaced? Commisar Gegnillum 14:46, 21 August 2011 (CEST)

Just a redirect to some russian cash-referer. So some russian pseudo script kiddies. Nothing worth mentioning. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 19:11, 21 August 2011 (CEST)

I woke up this morning and laughed

I saw your edit on the Imperial Fist page, summarized as "no idea what outlines are supposed to be." I spilled some tea on myself. Every time I was on that page I was like "What the f*ck is a an 'outline?'" but always figured I was stupid. lol cheers. --augustmanifesto 15:36, 30 August 2011 (CEST)

That should teach you to principally question what other people write ;) I was going (as every day) through the new edits when I saw it. First I thought it was the trim, but that was already described as codex. And the rest of the armour at least to me is pretty yellow when I look at the pictures ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 16:16, 30 August 2011 (CEST)

Daemonic Gifts

I have in my possesion a copy of the black crusade book and it goes to extensive lenght over several chapters of gifts the gods can give, however i don't know if i should use the Daemonic Gifts page to list them all, since also some them are more of curses than gifts--Ashendant 23:09, 1 September 2011 (CEST)

You mean the new RPG from fantasyflightgames?
The Daemonic Gifts-page in here looks awful anyway: It's just thinly disguised tabletop-rules.
I would say, gift is gift. (Go ask a Plague Marine...) --DetlefK 23:32, 1 September 2011 (CEST)
It's very broad and there some that are only outright negative, unlike plague marines which grants some benefits.--Ashendant 01:22, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Put them under gifts as a list, then create separate articles if need be. And DetlefK is right, the currect article is horrible. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 08:25, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Well for now i'll put them there carefully avoiding putting rules, however this is going to take a long time because it's a rather extensive list.--Ashendant 15:29, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
There is no deadline, is there? ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 16:02, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Ok i finished the general list but i need someone to correct my punctuation, i cannot see that page much further--Ashendant 01:33, 3 September 2011 (CEST)
Ok finished everything i can do... now i just need someone to correct my punctuation and correct the names of the gods which i keep getting wrong.--Ashendant 02:40, 5 September 2011 (CEST)

Sorry

Bit of a computer nub and didn't realize the format my images were saving on automatically caused a problem. Won't happen again. --Harriticus

Re-uploaded every png as a jpg and attached them to the appropiate pages, can't figure out a way to delete them though. Sorry again. --Harriticus
Don't worry about that. I take care of all unused files. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 21:05, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

Spam

This morning I woke up and saw the new "spamsuspect" template; nice job, it looks great! Another idea that we could do is impliment a Captcha thing that everyone has to do when they sign up. Unless we already have it.....I can't remember. Is there any other ways we could stop spammers/spambots? Commisar Gegnillum 13:26, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

We have a captcha since a while. Before that it was a flood of bots everyday ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:44, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

Am I being an idiot or...

...has the 'Move' tab vanished? --Mob 14:42, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

It isn't just you. I don't see it either. -- SFH 15:48, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

It has been disabled for security reasons, yes. Sorry. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:59, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
OK, so despite me now looking like I'm talking to myself, this is a reply to the material that was previously under my question. Is this a permanent removal? I'm simply curious. I guess the workaround is to use redirects, though this increases the number of non-content pages.--Mob 16:45, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Sorry for the accidental deletion of the previous comment. Put move request on my talk page. And yes, this is permanent, it was that or risk having to lose data due to having to use backups. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 19:21, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Got ya. Thanks! --Mob 19:27, 2 September 2011 (CEST)
Not trying to grab any additional power or anything here but would it be an idea to create another sub user group of move priveleged users who have been "screened" as regular contributors? Considering that otherwise the workload increases on you. Or would this eventually lead to trouble again down the track. Just a suggestion, comments encouraged.--Ytokes 11:08, 3 September 2011 (CEST)
We'll see, the whole situation is pretty fresh. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 12:11, 3 September 2011 (CEST)
It sounds like a good idea to me, we'll see what happens in the meanwhile. Enjoy your weekends! Commisar Gegnillum 15:14, 3 September 2011 (CEST)

You answered the resemblance for yourself

The Ferdinand looks the least like the Basilisk than any of those vehicles, by every conceivable critera: armor slope and general shape, chassis length, gun length/width, intended battlefield purpose; maybe you could name one similarity they do have? If you're going to say it bares a "striking resemblance" to anything, even though it's obvious to anyone with a modicum of armored vehicle knowledge that it's just an amalgam of assorted generic "self propelled artillery" image, it should be one of the artillery pieces listed and not a tank destroyer.

I did not even write that. But still you can't just go around removing sentences and being rude, no matter if you think you are right or not. And anyway you should have noticed that I changed the text to point out that it looks similar to a couple of tanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:54, 16 September 2011 (CEST)

I was using "you" generally, not for you specifically. And I wasn't intending to be rude, just wanted to remove something I figured nonessential and trifling to the article, like saying a Rhino looks like an M113 or FV432.

Please sign your discussion entries with --~~~~ or the corresponding button. And anyway I agree that remarks like that should go at the end of the article under "trivia" and should not be put in absolute, but in relative terms. Unless one is the designer himself or there is a speciic source (say an interview) we can never know for 100% what was the inspiration behind the model. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:07, 16 September 2011 (CEST)

Page Deletion Reversal

Hi there,

I've recently become active again. You can check my contributions, I have several hundred. Would it be possible for you to undo my userpage deletion? Thanks. Rye 05:15, 17 September 2011 (CEST)
