Absinthia System

Hello, just a small heads up that also list items are subject to the Citation rules. I added the one that was missing from the article. Regards. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 08:45, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up, and fixing it - will try to make sure I add them in future. Quick question if you get this - do you fix copy paste moves to preserve page histories, legal attribution, etc.? Fra'al seem to have been copy and pasted from Fra’al. --IXS=][= 11:48, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
There has so far not been a stringent policy on that. Plus this particular issue seems to date back 8+ years. Generally speaking we do apply some Wikipedia policies while completely disregarding others - as it seems useful at the time of the decision. Plus nobody of us really ever read the whole Wikipedia help and policies. So in many cases we are not even aware of issues. The overall goal is to keep everything as simple and end editor friendly as possible. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 09:28, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
Fixed this specific case. Not yet included in the Help section as the "Move" article has not beem created yet, but added a reminder to point it out. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 10:16, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks very much! :) --IXS=][= 11:30, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Tarellians

Just a clarification on wording: "During the campaign, Tarellians may also have been among the xenos that Sons of the Hydra leader Quetzel Carthach kept in his close circle of advisors." I am always a bit alarmed when such uncertainty verbs are used in sourced paragraphs. Could you explain why you used this wording, thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 10:57, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

Through the opening chapters, the author repeatedly makes the point that Carthach keeps xenos advisors in his inner circle. The xenos he's using are clearly stated, but only one of the advisors is described (Omizhar Vohk). I originally left out the reference to advisors, but because there's a strong implication that he's drawing on the expertise of the xenos, I thought that in the case of these very obscure species that their possibile advisory role definitely seemed worth putting in the article! That said, I'm very aware that I'm still trying to pick up on conventions, so please let me know what the best way to deal with this kind of thing is - I'd seen some articles that included straightfoward implications etc. in the article text, but wasn't sure how strictly this kind of thing was to carried out - should it all be put into a Trivia section instead? Thanks :) --IXS=][= 11:16, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
If the "may" or related wording is not explicitly taken from the original source as a quote (there are cases of in-source speculation) such speculation (no matter how strongly implied one might perceive it as) should indeed better be included in a Trivia/ Note section to clearly distingush between what the source clearly states and what not, thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:25, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Got it, thanks, I've made the change. :) --IXS=][= 12:20, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:30, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

(Attica) Centurius

When a full name of a character (for example) becomes known the whole article is moved to the more complete article title (from "Centurius" to "Attica Centurius" in this case). I think "moving" can only be done by admins therefore in such cases please notify one that an article should be moved, thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:57, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Thanks, will make sure to ask! --IXS=][= 15:14, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Ulthwé

Please add Source to the full name of Ulthwé (Ulthanash Shelwe) in its article--Darkelf77 (talk) 07:52, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Got it (thought I had done this!) --IXS=][= 08:23, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. All right.--Darkelf77 (talk) 09:20, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
