The Violators are a Chaos Space Marine warband dedicated to Slaanesh.
Overview
The Violators' armour is blue and is often stained with juices of their mutated bodies that runs from the joints.[3d] Their chapter symbol is a lightning bolt crossed with a dagger. They are known to use electrical pulses to stimulate certain parts of the brain to increase pleasure.
A Violator's mutated body is a temple to Slaanesh, who looks favourably on the Chapter and often alters their bodies so their sensations and pleasures are more immediate. Many Violators have never removed a single part of their armour, for showing their true body would be sacrilege. Though some may reveal themselves in the presence of those who truly represent the ideals of Slaanesh or to a great enemy before the kill.[3c]
Notable Battles
- 999.M41: 13th Black Crusade — Most of their actions during this conflict were in the Cadian Sector. During this war they repeatedly took recruits from the worst Imperial prisons. They took part in the capture of St. Josmane's Hope.[2][4]
- Unknown date: Torvendis — Four hundred Violators [3b] were stationed permanently on Torvendis under the banner of Lady Charybdia. They fought, led by Commander Demetrius entombed in a Chaos Dreadnought, in the defense of Charybdia Keep. Most, if not all, of the Violators on the planet were killed during the battle by either the Khornate Daemon Prince Ss'll Sh'Karr and his minions or the barbarian horde of Golgoth.[3a]

- Commander Demetrius — Commander of the Violators stationed on Torvendis. He was killed in action by the Khornate Daemon Prince Sh'll Sh'Karr.[3a]
