The Vitrian Dragoons Third is a Vitrian Dragoons regiment of the Astra Militarum.[1f]
History
The regiment was amongst those that took part in the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. At that time, it was commanded by Colonel Zoren.[1a]
Known Actions
- Fortis Binary — Colonel Zoren led the regiment in support of the Tanith First and Only when the Imperials led a push onto a trench network controlled by a Chaos Cult known as the Shriven.[1a] With the help of the Vitrians, the Tanith disrupted a Chaos ritual that the Shriven were attempting to enact.[1d][1e]
- Menazoid Epsilon — Zoren repaid the regiment's debt to the Tanith First by attacking the treacherous Jantine Patricians First regiment, who had been ordered by the scheming Lord Militant General Dravere to slaughter the Tanith as they advanced on an enemy necropolis. The Vitrians attacked the Patricians from the rear and, with the element of surprise on their side, the Vitrians completely wiped out the Jantine.[1f]
