Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum talk:Requested articles
- Started on Imperial Culture, but it still needs a great deal of work
There are 2 pages; Requested Articles and Requested articles, this one being the latter. Suggest we delete this one as there is less in it.
- Yes, or perhaps it should become a redirect as I can see this happening again --Jonru 09:52, 23 January 2006 (CET)
- Done. --Inquisitor S. 10:19, 24 January 2006 (CET)
- I'll get Chaos Vehicles done tonight as best I can. Slavedriver 19:01, 4 December 2006 (CET)
Created a page for Gyrinx and removed them from the list --Elethiomel 21:11, 22 March 2007 (CET)
Why the request for a Warhammer Fantasy Battles article? It has it's own wiki section, doesn't it? --Ikaruwa 21:09, 12 October 2007 (CEST)
- Indeed it does. We would probably need to turn it into some form of inter-wiki redirect, if thats even possible. Cheers--Jonru 11:20, 13 October 2007 (CEST)
- I've determined the proper syntax for these 'Inter-wiki Redirects' as Jonru put it.
- For Warhammer Fantasy English, put [[lex_en_whfb:Main_Page]]. For German, change 'en' to 'de', for French, change 'en' to 'fr'. I found it in the source for the community portal page. so now that I've made the redirect, I'll remove the request. --Ikaruwa 10:32, 17 October 2007 (CEST)
- Diamantine up, it's a stub, seeing as there's not much I can get my hands on at the moment. --Rye 01:42, 24 July 2008 (CEST)
Hive Lord
The hive lord was mentioned in a few paragraphs in the rogue trader book; that's all. Its probably the predecessor to the Hive Tyrant, but is described like a Norn Queen. I mentioned it in the hive tyrant article. I don't believe there is enough material on the Hive Lord to merit it's own page. Pikez33 22:04, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- There're other short articles, so why not.--Genestealer, Magus 22:29, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I'm relatively new to 40k and not familiar with the older stuff. If the hive lord was mentioned elsewhere, like in a WD or a book or something, then just disregard my statement. There is some text in the Hive Tyrant article that may have to be edited/removed once the lord article is up.Pikez33 20:14, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- It shouldn't be removed, as these informations concern the old hive tyrant that is now the norn-queen, while the hive lord was some kind of recent hive tyrant, so... I feel dizzy... :D.--Genestealer, Magus 20:30, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think the Hive Lord page should be removed. The page needs to be re-written in the first palce, and it could easily just be mentioned a little more in-depth on the Hive Tyrant Older Background section. Not to mention the Hive Tyrant in the Dawn of War: REtribution is also called the Hive Lord... --Hive Node 06:51, 24 June 2011 (CEST)
Imperial Tithe
Shouldn't Imperial Tithe and Tithe Grade be joined in an unique article called Imperial Tithe and redirecting any Tithe Grade towards it? --Jacob Sterlov 23:37, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Charcharodons
This is just a mis-spelling of "Carcharodons" ie Space Sharks, already has page and should be removed from list Thelemur 20:05, 23 June 2011 (CEST)
- If it is so remove it.--Ashendant 20:08, 23 June 2011 (CEST)
- would have taken you just as long to do so yourself as it did to type that response, please modify your attitudeThelemur 20:16, 23 June 2011 (CEST)
Removed Request
I removed the request for a Devilgaunt page, because as far as my extensive Tyranid knowledge goes Devilgaunts have never been mentioned officially.--Hive Node 06:44, 24 June 2011 (CEST)
Brain Leaf
Is this not the same as the Brainleaf of Catachan? Someone witht the DH material will have to check.--Ytokes 10:54, 27 August 2011 (CEST)
- No, altrough it's stated to be thought to originate from Catachan, and also mind controls like that one it's a vastly different being. Instead of a creature it's called a coarse vine or ivy, and later it's stated to not be from catachan but a mutation of the tyranid cortex leech.--Ashendant 15:13, 27 August 2011 (CEST)
- Hmmm alright. Seems like you know your stuff. Write the article mate! :P--Ytokes 00:38, 28 August 2011 (CEST)
