Zagrob da Butcha was a Blood Axes Warboss, who took part in the Octarius War in M42.[1]

History

As the conflict raged, his Blood Axe hordes pursued fleeing Imperial refugees, in the hopes they would lead them to fresh worlds. This led him into the Sigma-Ulstari System and he invaded the Quarry World Molasaxum, at the same time the Warboss Gibkrug invaded the Forge World Sigma-Ulstari. On Molasaxum, Zagrob's hordes clashed not only with the Imperial forces defending the System, but also the Quarry World's heavily armed syndicates and cartels. The slaughter there went on for months, until the Imperials finally achieved victory by luring Zagrob to an enormous cliff rigged with explosives. Once he approached aboard a stolen Molasaxum Logging Landship, the explosives were detonated which sent the vehicle crashing into the ground below. With Zagrob's death, his hordes became disorganized and this allowed the Imperium's forces to regain control of areas that had been lost to the Orks.[1]
