Anacharis Scoria

Anacharis Scoria was a Magos Dominus of the Mechanicum Forge World Xana during the latter years of the Great Crusade. He seized power of Xana during the Horus Heresy, aligning it with the Dark Mechanicum and turning it into the first Hell Forge. [1a]

Biography

Known as the Tyrant of Xana, his background was mysterious.[1a] It is possible that he was a frontline commander during the Rangdan Xenocides, commanding the "Taghmata Scoria".[1b]

Scoria was known to have held his position as Magos Dominus at least 30 years before the Horus Heresy. He was also believed to have been a Vodian Magister, serving as the chief enforcer of Cult Mechanicus doctrine on his Forge World. Some time after that, he was cast down and removed from all records until the Xana Incursion. It is believed he may have been held prisoner by Xana's ruling Archmagos. However in the aftermath of the disaster, he may have been accidentally released by Imperial forces and reemerged as a leading figure in the Dark Mechanicum of Xana. It was under Scoria that Xana established the first of its so-called Hell-Forges.[1a]

In battle, Scoria wielded a unique Archaeotech weapon dubbed the Vodian Sceptre. Built from materials all but indestructible, it was also capable of unleashing immense destructive power.[2]
