Asterus

Space Marines Portal Ultramarines

Asterus was a Librarian in the Ultramarines Chapter's Second Company.^[1]

He was part of a strike force led by Chaplain Cassius sent to aid the Hive World Thraxia when Hive Primus suffered a Tyranid invasion. However, when the strike force arrived weeks later, it discovered the Hive's population had been devoured and the Tyranids were laying in wait for them. In the fierce battle that followed, Asterus led a squadron of Ultramarines in battle, but soon found himself standing alone, when they all fell to a series of Tyranid attacks. Despite this he fought on against a large number of Tyranids, until he was torn apart by a group of Raveners.^[1]
