Baduin Alarbus Selwyn
Baduin Alarbus Selwyn is an aged Baron of House Krast, who commands the Knight Errant Red Ruin.[1]
History
He led a lance of Knights in the Indomitus Crusade's Fleet Tertius and, as a hunter of giants, Selwyn always sought out the largest foes he could find. The Baron would have no shortest of such targets, as Tertius fought the forces of Chaos as they emerged in waves from the Great Rift. Selwyn later led his Exalted Court as part of Battlegroup Delphi's Task Force V and landed upon Mundus di Venn to hunt down the last of the Chaos forces routed by the Battlegroup. This foe, however, was a Chaos Warhound Titan named the Helspawn, which had escaped into the world's mountainous chasms. Many groups had been sent to destroy the Chaos Titan, but the Helspawn destroyed all who pursued it. Selwyn and his Exalted Court sought to end its rampage, but after entering the Helspawn's domain, the Chaos Titan killed all of them - save for the Baron himself. Undeterred, Selwyn continued his hunt alone and finally tracked the Helspawn to a cavern it used as a lair. By then, the Chaos Titan had used up all of its ammunition and charged Selwyn with its claws and multiple maws. The Baron attacked it relentlessly, though, and killed the Helspawn by tearing the Chaos Titan's head off. In order to ensure it was dead, Selwyn then melted the Helspawn's chassis into a single charred mass.[1]
