Balthus is a Captain in the Doom Eagles Chapter and a current Tetrarch of Ultramar.[1]
History
Following the end of the Indomitus Crusade, Balthus received a message from Lord Commander Guilliman that stated he had made a mistake by decreasing Ultramar's size, in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy, and he now planned to make it even larger than it once was. In order to ensure this would take place, Guilliman reinstated the rank of Tetrarch and chose Balthus to be one of its members. The Captain accepted and was given command of the world Protos, from where he would do whatever was necessary to expand Ultramar's western territories.[1]
